Notes: The third battle of Panipat was fought in the year 1761 (14th January). Ahmad Shah Abdali was supported by Najib-Ud-Daulah (Rohilla), Shuja-Ud-Daulah, Afghans (Doab region). Sadashivrao Bhau led the Maratha army. Marathas were defeated. Balaji Bajirao died after hearing the news of the loss in the yea 1761.
