Keoladeo National Park or Keoladeo Ghana National Park is a famous bird sanctuary located in Rajasthan, India. It was earlier known as Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Thousands of rare and extinct species of birds are found in it, such as cranes from Siberia, which come here during the winter season. Here 230 species of birds have made their home in the national park of India. Now it has become a major tourist destination and center, where ornithologists come in abundance in winter. It was declared a protected bird sanctuary in 1971 and later in 1985 it has also been declared a 'World Heritage'.
