The Chenab River, also known as the Chandrabhaga River, is formed by the merging of the Chandra and Bhaga Rivers at Tandi in the Lahaul Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh. The Chandra and Bhaga Rivers originate from opposite sides of the Baralacha pass at an elevation of 4,891 meters. They meet at Tandi at an elevation of 2,286 meters.
