1) Soma Roy Burman has been appointed as the New Controller General of Accounts(CGA).
Soma Roy Burman, from 1986 batch of Indian Civil Accounts Services (ICAS) officer became the 24th CGA and the 7th women CGA of India.
The Controller General of Accounts (CGA) heads the Department of Expenditure and is under the Ministry of Finance.CGA is the principle accounting adviser to the Government of India, prepares revenues, borrowings, annual and monthly analysis of expenditure and other fiscal indicators for the Central Government.
2) Hari Mohan has been appointed as the Chairman of the Ordnance Factory Board.
Hari Mohan, from 1982 batch of Indian Ordnance Factories Services (I.O.F.S), holds Postgraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and M.Phil in Public Administration has been a topper of University of Allahabad (Bachelor) and University of Pune (Masters).
Ordnance Factory Board functions under the Department of Defence Production of Ministry of Defence was founded in 1712 and, is headquartered in Kolkata
