India House at Paris Olympics 2024

Reliance Industries (RIL) has partnered with Indian Olympic Association (IOA) to set up first-ever India House at Paris Olympics 2024. RIL-IOA partnership is directed towards elevation of performances of Indian athletes. They will also extend support to national sports federations.

Highlights of the Partnership;

RIL-IOA partnership will build credentials of India as a global sporting nation, with the goal of being the host of Olympic Games in future.
As a part of partnership, RIL will extend support to Indian athletes in major multi-sport events such as Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, and the Olympics Games.

Before the Paris 2024 Olympics, India is scheduled to host the 140th prestigious IOC Session at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai, in June 2023. The IOC Session coincides with 75th year of Independence. It will highlight the role of sport in India as well as celebrate India’s contribution to the Olympic Movement.

Indian Olympic Association (IOA)

Indian Olympic Association is also called as Indian Olympic Committee (IOC). It selects athletes to represent India at the Olympic Games, Asian Games and other such international athletic meets. It is also responsible for managing the Indian teams at these events. As the Indian Commonwealth Games Association, it also selects athletes to represent India at Commonwealth Games.

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL)

RIL is a multinational conglomerate company, with headquarter in Mumbai. The company was co-founded by Dhirubhai Ambani and Champaklal Damani as Reliance Commercial Corporation, in 1960s.
