Muhammad bin Tughluq
Nanded Fort, known as Nandgiri, was built by Muhammad bin Tughluq after capturing Nanded in 1318. The fort later passed through the hands of several rulers, including the Bahmani Sultanate, Ahmadnagar, and Mughals. Located on the Godavari riverbank, it features double fortifications and several bastions.
