Notes: Indian industrialist and philanthropist Shri. Ratan Tata, has been chosen for “Assam Baibhav” – Assam’s highest civilian award, for his exceptional contribution towards cancer care in the state. He was instrumental in constructing 16 hospitals under the Assam Cancer Care Foundation, of which 10 hospitals will be completed by this year and operationalised in April 2022.
