Notes: Jassa Singh Ahluwalia (1718–1783), chief of the Ahluwalia Misl, founded Kapurthala State in 1772. He captured Fatehabad in 1755 from Adina Beg. Kapurthala became an important Sikh princely state in Punjab under his descendants, with its own royal lineage and cultural legacy.
