Q. Who decides if a bill is a money bill?
Answer: Assembly Speaker
Notes: Article 110(3) of the Indian Constitution states the Speaker of the Lok Sabha has the final decision on money bills. This decision cannot be questioned in any court or house of Parliament. The Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of a state like Jharkhand has similar authority. The Governor, Chief Minister, and President do not have the authority to decide if a bill is a money bill.
