Notes: Rango Bapuji Gupte gone to London to argue his ruler of Satara, Raja Pratap Singh's case. But after he went there, he was transformed into a complete rebel. After returning to India, he became one of the masterminds behind the 1857 revolt.
Seceretly, he started building armed organizations with Nanasaheb Peshwa, Azimullah Khan and Tantya Tope in Satara, Kolhapur, Sangli and Belgaon. But, the plan was exposed. British tried to arrest him, but he escaped and was never found again. Nobody knows when and where this great revolutionary breathed last.
