Notes: Lapland War was fought as part of the Eastern Front of World WarII from 15 September 1944 to 27 April 1945 in the Lapland region of Finland, fought by Finland on the one side and Nazi Germany on the other side. Soviet Union's Vyborg-Petrozavodsk Offensive of 1944, during the Continuation War, forced the Finnish leadership to sign the Moscow Armistice which demanded Finland to break diplomatic and military ties with Germany and expel any German soldiers from the Finnish region. This war leads to the Finnish victory.
