Notes: The Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation of Ministry of Jal Shakti has introduced the Unified Registration Portal for GOBARdhan to simplify the process of registering Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG) and biogas facilities across the country. Currently, there are more than 1,163 biogas plants and 426 CBG plants registered on the portal, making them eligible for support through the Market Development Assistance (MDA) scheme offered by the Department of Fertilizers.
