Notes: The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has issued a notification comprising standards for safety evaluation of hydrogen fuel cell-based vehicles.
The Ministry has amended the Central Motor Vehicles Rules 1989 to specify the standards for the vehicles being propelled by Hydrogen Fuel cells. These standards are said to be at par with the available international standards.
