Costa Rica and Panama
Costa Rica and Panama share the location of Talamanca Mountain Range. Its native name is "Cordillera de Talamanca". The highest point of this mountain range is "Cerro Chirripo" which is located in the Costa Rican side of the mountain range. Cerro Chirripo is 3820 metres high above sea level. It is included in the La Amistad International Park. Talamanca Range-La Amistad Reserves is designated as UNESCO World Heritage Site. This mountain range is covered by the Talamanca montane forests which houses Baird's Tapir, Puma, Jaguar and Tabasara Rain Frogs.
