The 26th Hornbill Festival has been inaugurated at the Naga Heritage Village, Kisama, Kohima, Nagaland. The festival coincides with Nagaland’s Statehood Day and will run for ten days. It brings together all major Naga tribes to celebrate tradition, folklore, music, craft, and cuisine. United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Austria, Malta, Switzerland joined as country partners, and Arunachal Pradesh as state partner. The festival has evolved from a tourism initiative into a global cultural platform attracting visitors and performers from India and abroad.
