Notes: Recently, the Assam government launched the “Prerona Aasoni” scheme to support Class X students. It will provide ₹300 per month as financial assistance. The scheme is for students studying in schools affiliated with the Assam State Secondary Education Board (ASSEB Div-I). It targets students appearing in the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination 2026. The scheme will be implemented from November 1, 2025. Funds will be given through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to ensure transparency and quick access.
