Notes: Telangana government has launched MeeSeva on WhatsApp to improve access and convenience for government-to-citizen (G2C) services across nearly 40 departments. The service uses an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven conversational platform to allow citizens to access services through a simple chat interface. More than 580 government-to-citizen services can now be accessed through WhatsApp as part of efforts to bring governance closer to people using technology. This WhatsApp facility supplements the existing network of 5,000 MeeSeva service centres across Telangana. Citizens can send ‘Hi’ to WhatsApp number 80969 58096 to apply for certificates, pay utility bills and property tax, remit police challans, track applications, receive updates and download documents.
