The achievement was registered in the Guinness Book of World Records at Auric City ground. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis highlighted that this milestone strengthens Maharashtra’s leadership in off-grid solar pump deployment under PM-Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) and Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana (MTSKPY). The initiative ensures irrigation security, increases farmer productivity and incomes, and reduces dependence on conventional energy sources.
