The Dalma Range is situated in East Singhbhum district of Jharkhand. It extends from west to east and is covered by dense forests on the northern side. East Singhbhum district spans 3,533 sq km and consists largely of residual mountains and hills of the Chhotanagpur Plateau. The Dalma Range is a prominent geological feature of the district, alongside the Subernarekha River. Other ranges listed are not found in the East Singhbhum district.
