Notes: After the death of the Mughal Emperor Alamgir II, Shah Alam II(Ali Gauhar) was coronated at the British factory at Patna. He and the British forces under the command of Hector Munro fought with the combined forces of Mir Qasim, the Nawab of Bengal and Shuja-ud-Daula, the Nawab of Awadh in the Battle of Buxar of 1764.
