Notes: Located in Chikkamagaluru district, Karnataka, Kudremukha is a mountain range and name of a peak and historically,  it was also known as 'Samseparvata', as it was approached from Samse village. Kuduremukha is Karnataka's 2nd highest peak after Mullayanagiri. The name Kuduremukha means 'horse-faced in Kannada a side of the mountain resembles a horse's face.
