Notes: The Union cabinet approved the continuation of the Integrated Development of Wildlife Habitats scheme for the 15th Finance Commission cycle. It is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme launched by the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change. It evolved from the earlier scheme, "Assistance for the Development of National Parks and Sanctuaries." The scheme aims to enhance technological interventions in tiger and other wildlife habitats. It will benefit 55 tiger reserves, 33 elephant reserves, and 718 protected areas and their zones of influence.
