Notes: Arikesari II was a ruler of the Vemulavada Chalukya dynasty and patron of Pampa. He was a feudatory of Rashtrakuta Emperor Krishna III. Arikesari II honored Pampa with the title Kavita Gunarnava for his epic "Vikramarjuna Vijaya" or "Pampa Bharata." Pampa identified Arikesari II with Arjuna in his work. For his contributions, Pampa received the village Dharmapura (now in Telangana) as an Agrahara from Arikesari II.
