Notes: The name of Panthi dance has been derived from the cult of the great saint Guru Ghasidas of Chhattisgarh. This folk dance mainly based on Nirguna Bhakti is performed by the Satnami community of Chhattisgarh. In this dance, the dancers wear white dhoti to the sound of cymbals and mridang. Amazing feats are also shown during this dance. This dance is based on spiritual feelings.
