Notes: The dance is similar to that of Garba of Gujarat. It is popular in Mithilanchal region of Bihar and is performed only by the married women. It signifies a good omen and usually performed after the month of Ashvin coming in September-October. It signifies celebration in wake of changing seasons with dancing, singing and celebrations.
