Notes: The Republic of Upper Volta is present-day known as Burkina Faso. It was established in 1958 when France gave it self-government rights and finally independence in 1960. In 1983 Coup, Thomas Sankara came to power. And he changed the name of the country from the Republic of Upper Volta to Burkina Faso, which means the "Land of Incorruptible People'.
