Notes: Patna-based research institute Centre for Policy Analysis (CPA) placed India on top of the ‘Global minority index’. It is followed by South Korea, Japan, Panama and the US, in the Global Minority Report listing 110 countries. Maldives, Afghanistan and Somalia are placed at the bottom of the list. The report was released by former vice president of India M Venkaiah Naidu.
