Notes: King Sukaphaa founded the Ahom kingdom and initiated the Buranji chronicles in the Tai-Ahom language. Suhungmung later adopted Assamese in these chronicles. Mumai Tamuli is known for introducing cremation practices, not Buranjis. Supaatphaa did not start the Buranjis tradition.
