Notes: RBI mandates Bucket 1 Domestic Systemically Important Banks (D-SIBs) to maintain 0.20% additional Common Equity Tier-1 (CET1) capital above the minimum regulatory requirement. ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank have been classified as Bucket 1 D-SIBs as per latest notifications. This requirement is reviewed and published annually by the Reserve Bank of India as part of its D-SIB identification process initiated in 2014.
