Ensure transparency, efficiency, and accessibility in urban land governance
Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), with Department of Land Resources (DoLR), Ministry of Rural Development, inaugurated a two-day National Training-cum-Workshop on the NAKSHA Programme on 6–7 October 2025. The workshop gathers District Magistrates and Collectors nationwide to prepare for NAKSHA’s roll-out. NAKSHA Programme is a one-year pilot under Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP) for transparent, efficient, and accessible urban land governance. It uses geospatial mapping, Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), and Web-GIS tools to map urban land digitally.
