The Maharashtra Agriculture Department has launched a new logo and slogan, marking its first visual identity revamp in 38 years. The new emblem was unveiled in Mumbai by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, in the presence of Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, and Agriculture Minister Dattatray Bharne. The new slogan is “Sashwat Sheti, Samruddha Shetkari”, meaning “Sustainable Farming, Prosperous Farmer”. It was selected through a state-wide competition that received over 1,700 entries.
