Notes: Union Minister of Communications and Development of North Eastern Region inaugurated Samriddhi Kendra on 14 March at Umri village in Guna district under the Samriddh Gram Phygital Services Pilot Initiative. It has been launched by Department of Telecommunications (DoT). Samriddhi Kendra is an Integrated Phygital (Physical + Digital) service centre that provides multiple government and community services at one village-level hub. The initiative uses high-speed internet created under BharatNet, one of the world’s largest rural broadband networks, to deliver digital services in villages.
