Notes: Hundred beneficiaries of the National SC-ST Hub (NSSH) Scheme with their spouses were invited as ‘Special Guests’ to witness Independence Day Ceremony 2025 at Red Fort, New Delhi. The Scheme was launched by the Prime Minister in October 2016 under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME). It is implemented by the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC). The scheme promotes entrepreneurship among Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs) and ensures 4% procurement from SC/ST Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) under the Public Procurement Policy. At present, 1.48 lakh SC/ST entrepreneurs benefit from the scheme across rural and urban India, including 6 North Eastern States and 6 Union Territories.
