Notes: Gobind Sagar is a man-made reservoir situated in Bilaspur District, Himachal Pradesh. It is one of the largest man-made lakes of India, was created by a 255 m high, straight gravity dam at Bhakra on the river Satluj. Construction of Bhakra Nangal dam was initiated in 1947 and the reservoir was formed in 1963.
