Notes: Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) is a statutory body under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises implementing Khadi Gramodyog Vikas Yojana (KGVY) for development of the khadi and village industries sector. Around 4.32 lakh spinners and weavers in the khadi sector benefit through wage enhancement based on spinning and weaving work. KVIC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in September 2025 with National Small Industries Corporation Limited (NSIC). The aim is to create an ecosystem for better market access for eligible Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) units.
