Spring and Autumn Period and Warring States Period were the ancient periods related to China. Spring and Autumn Period was a period in Chinese history from 771 BC to 476 BC. It is also known as the first half of the Eastern Zhou Period. This period marks the loss of control of Zhou dynasty of ancient China over its feudal states and partition and emergence of powerful states such as Qin. This period marked the beginning of the Warring States Period from 481 BC to 403 BC. This period marked consolidation and reform measures undertook by the Qin dynasty which leads to its emergence as the ruler of the first unified Chineses Empire.
