A new skill training and women entrepreneurship project under Pradhan Mantri Virasat Ka Samvardhan (PM VIKAS) Scheme launched on 17th July 2025 at Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Kottayam. It aims to train 450 minority candidates in Kerala with future-ready and entrepreneurial skills. PM VIKAS Scheme is a Central Sector Scheme launched by the Ministry of Minority Affairs. It focuses on skill development, leadership, and entrepreneurship training for minorities and artisan communities. The scheme aims to benefit around 9 lakh candidates during the 15th Finance Commission Cycle (2025–26).
