Indian Army held its Idea & Innovation Competition Inno-Yoddha 2025 in New Delhi, led by Lieutenant General Pushpendra Pal Singh, Vice Chief of the Army Staff (VCOAS). The platform identifies and scales soldier-driven innovations to improve operations, logistics and training. Soldiers use real field experience to develop practical and effective solutions. In the last five years, 117 innovations were selected, 47 productised, 9 prototypes evaluated, 30 Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) filed and 5 technologies transferred to industry. In the 2025–26 edition, 89 entries were received and 32 selected for further development.
