Notes: India is set to re-introduce Cheetahs from South Africa’s Namibia in Madhya Pradesh's Kuno Palpur National Park. After the Cheetahs arrive in the National Park, they will stay in smaller enclosures during the quarantine phase before being shifted to the bigger ones. Cheetahs went extinct in India in 1952 and the 'African Cheetah Introduction Project in India' was started in 2009.
