South Asian Free Trade Agreement
South Asian Association of Regional Cooperation (SAARC) was established in 1985. SAARC Council of Ministers signed a frame work agreement of South Asian Free Trade Agreement (SAFTA) in January 2004 in Islamabad. SAFTA entered into force in January 2006. Bangladesh, Maldives, Bhutan, Nepal, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are the members of South Asian Free Trade Agreement.
