Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL) was incorporated on 4 October 1967. It operates under the Department of Atomic Energy. UCIL manages uranium mining and processing in India with its registered office at Jaduguda Mines in Jharkhand. It runs uranium mines like Jadugora, Bhatin, Narwapahar, Turamdih, and Banduhurang. UCIL is a public sector undertaking with authorized capital of ₹3,500 crores and paid-up capital of about ₹2,094.62 crores.
