Notes: As per the recent announcement of Renewable Energy Ministry, world’s largest floating solar power plant is going to be built in Madhya Pradesh's Khandwa.
The plant is expected to generate 600 Megawatt power by 2022-23 and is estimated to be worth over Rs 3000 crores. At present, India’s largest floating solar power project is operational at Ramagundam in Telangana, being operated by NTPC.
