Notes: Chief minister (CM) Nitish Kumar launched Bihar's first CNG (compressed natural gas) bus service at Samvad Bhawan on July 24, 2021. The eco-friendly buses are cost-efficient and will reduce carbon footprint in city. All the diesel-powered buses will also be converted into CNG by 2022. Altogether 50 buses will ply on three different routes namely, Bankipore bus depot to Danapur, Patna City and Bihta to IIT-Patna. Out of them, 20 buses will run on Bihta-Danapur routes while 10 on the Patna City route.
