Q. Chandil Dam and Galudih Barrage are on which river?
Answer: Subarnarekha (Swarna Rekha) River
Notes: Chandil Dam is built across the Subarnarekha River in Seraikela Kharsawan district, Jharkhand. The Subarnarekha Multipurpose Project includes this dam. Galudih Barrage is also on the Subarnarekha River downstream of its confluence with the Kharkai River tributary. Both structures divert water from the main Subarnarekha River. Kharkai Barrage and Icha Dam are separate and not related to Chandil Dam or Galudih Barrage. Neither structure is located on the Barakar River.
