Notes: The Partition of Bengal was announced on 20 July 1905 by Lord Curzon, the then Viceroy of India and commensed on 16th October 1905. After that Swadeshi Movement took place till 1911. The campaign was officially launched on August 7, 1905 at the Calcutta Town Hall. The main agenda of the movements included boycott of foreign goods and using of goods produced in India. As a result people burnt the British-made goods.
