Notes: Qutb-uddin Aibak, a former slave of Muhammad Ghori, was the first Sultan of Delhi (1206-1210 A.D.) and founded the Mamluk Dynasty. He commissioned the Qutub Minar and was known as "Lakh Baksh" for his generosity. His reign initiated Muslim rule in India, impacting culture, architecture, and administration. Aibak died in a polo accident in 1210, succeeded by Iltutmish.
