Indian Space Association

The Indian Space Association (ISpA) will be the leading industrial association of space and satellite companies. ISpA is represented by leading international and national companies which are equipped with advanced capabilities in satellite and space technologies. Founding members of ISpA are Bharti Airtel, Nelco (Tata Group), Mapmyindia, Larsen & Toubro, Walchandnagar Industries, OneWeb and Ananth Technology Limited. The core members include Godrej, BEL, Centum Electronics, Hughes India, Maxar India and AzistaBST Aerospace Private Limited.

Function of Indian Space Association

The association will meet with stakeholders to formulate an enabling policy framework that meets the government’s vision. ISpA will also work to build global connections for the Indian space industry to bring critical investments and technology to the country to create more high-quality jobs. ISpA also plans to work closely with INSPACe to promote the government’s spatial vision. It will also work with the government and its agencies to make India technologically advanced, independent and a leader in the space sector.
