PM FME scheme

The Prime Minister Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PM FME) scheme was launched recently by Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh. It is a centrally sponsored scheme under which micro processing units, farmer producer organisations (FPOs) and Self Help Groups (SHGs) will receive financial, technical and business assistance. This scheme was launched last year under Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan. It will be implemented from 2020-21 to 2024-25.
