Kirtiraj Kundlik Gaikwad, an Indian-origin scientist, has won the International Association Of Food Protection (IAFP) Young scientist scholarship award at St. Louise, USA for his research work on development of novel oxygen absorbing package in the field of active packaging for oxygen sensitive food products. The award carries a $2000 and plaque.The purpose of IAFP is to encourage young outstanding food safety scientist from all over the world.
