The 2016 Asian Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction (AMCDRR) will be hosted by the Government of India (GoI) in New Delhi on November 2-3, 2016. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the conference that will be held in collaboration with the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNISDR). The purpose of the conference is to transform the commitments of governments and stakeholders during the Sendai Conference into national and local action.
